Postal Services Modernisation Discussion Paper – March 2023

According to this discussion paper

• The Australian Government is focused on maintaining access to essential postal services
so that Australian communities can thrive.
• Access to postal services is a key driver of vitality and viability in rural, regional and remote
communities, and for many communities the Post Office is the most convenient option to
access a wide range of financial, identity and document services, and consumer products.
