HSC Energy Saving Presentation

In Hornsby Shire, our home’s energy usage is collectively the largest contributor to Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the shire. Hornsby Shire Council have committed to a target of Net Zero by 2050 and have established a program focussing on reductions in both emissions and energy costs.

With increasing energy costs for all households, meeting these targets can save some money and help to reduce emissions.

Susie Smith, the Sustainability Officer at Hornsby Shire Council, shared with us how Brooklyn and River Dwelling households are doing compared to other Shire households. She will follow this with top tips and tricks to ensure you have the latest information on how you can save energy, and end up with some spare change too.
